Watercolour cards

I'm making watercolour cards, some from failed paintings:

For this one I used part of a painting and heat embosssed a computer generated sentiment.

Another watercolur on Arches 140 lb cold press paper, and a heat embossed computer generated sentiment.

  1. Beautiful cards and a great recycling idea - would love to learn how to emboss my printed sentiments! Thanks for playing with us at lawnscaping, hugs, Karin

  2. Hi Karin,
    Thanks for the compliment:)
I make a sheet of sentiments on printer paper, then quickly embosss them straight out of the printer while they are still damp.
I read on Melstampz,http://melstampz.blogspot.com/2009/12/how-to-emboss-digital-image-with-matte.html that if that doesn't work, you can spred matte medium or gesso on a piece of paper then print and emboss on any paper without rushing.
    Hope that helps!
