Anyone can be an artist
This is my first painting, ever!
We had an art class at Trilogy in La Quinta, California with Nancy Stanchfield, who encouraged us to be free.
I had broken my wrist (don't ride your bike and wave to friends at the same time:)
So, since I felt I had no ability and a broken wrist, I thought I would just fool around and have fun.
This was the result. I used a few acrylics, one brush, and added bits of crumbled tissue paper.
I think that many of the people who are successful in life, aren't any more talented than the rest of us, they just have more guts or are more driven. What do you think?
Since I didn't censor myself as usual, I felt in the zone, relaxed, and creative.
What fun, and I've been painting ever since.
That's the main reason I started a blog, to encourage others to try new things, to just jump in!
