One thing leads to another

Today was Day 3 in  the Index Card A Day Challenge

So I watercolored a flower, and tried the engraving technique that Susan taught us at Stamp Club.

We watercolored and outlined with a sharp instrument,I used the end of my paint brush.

Then I started a painting of Purple Coneflower (Echinacea), and then did a Cosmos as per Neelima's tutorial.
I couldn't stop there so I copied a wine coaster.
All this creativity sparked by one little index card:)

Index Card A Day

Last year I followed Daisy Yellow's Index Card A Day, and loved the fabulous mini art that everyone made.

This year I decided not to be shy, and dive in!

Here's my first card to start off the 60 day challenge to do one card a day.

I used some packaging plastic and blew some alcohol inks on it with a straw.

Then  I affixed it to card stock and the index card with brads.

I hope to make a card every day in June and July to try out some new techniques.

It's fun and no pressure to do just a little index card:)
