Organic Fusion Class in Dallas Texas

In February, while visiting Alan's family in Texas, I was fortunate to take a wonderful encaustic class  called Organic Fusion with Elizabeth Schowachert. This was my first official encaustic class, after experimenting on my own. It was so exciting, Elizabeth is a talented patient teacher. I had been using a heat gun to fuse, and was afraid of the blow torch. She taught me to go forth boldly:)
I loved the techniques she taught for getting texture, and was thrilled with the paintings I made.
I am now a confirmed encaustic addict, I love this medium!
